Who can donate?

Anyone in good health and above the age of 18, can donate blood.
Anyone who has not donated in the past 3 months. Donors must weigh at least 110 pounds or 50kg. Have to healthy. No trasmittable diseases, malaria and typhoid.

Is blood donation safe?

Yes, all medical equipment is properly sterilized, eliminating the risk of infection.

What happens to my blood?

It is passed through a series of tests to check for any diseases, and then separated into individual components like redblood cells, platelets, plasma.

3. Organ Transplant 40 units of blood / 30 units of platelets
4. 20 bags of cryoprecipitate 25 units of fresh frozen plasma
5. Bone Marrow Transplant 120 units of platelets/ 20 units of blood
6. Burn Victims 20 units of platelets
